Episode 21 Focus your Students with the Notebook Magic Pen

In this :60 Sec Tech you will see another new tool in action available in Notebook Version 10. The tool you will see is the Magic Pen Tool. This tool has three major functions that all gear towards the same concept: focus the students attention. What this tool can do is create disappearing ink, create a spotlight, and create a magnification box all with the stroke of a pen.

Episode 15 Smart Notebook Cutting Transition time with File Linking

In this :60 Sec Tech you will learn how to link files and websites to objects in Smart Technologies Notebook software. When you click on an object that has been linked to a file or website, it will open that specific file or web page automatically without exiting the Notebook software. This will help with cutting down transition times when showing multiple files during a lesson.

60 Sec Tech Episode 14 : Import Youtube Video into Smart Notebook

In this :60 Sec Tech you will learn how to download a video from youtube, teachertube, or any other flash video site to your computer, and then import it into your smarttech notebook software. There are two reasons to do this task. First, so that you can cut down on transition time between showing a video and using your smartboard. The second reason is so that you will not have to see any of the other linked videos or advertisements on that particular video page. Please remember, that copyright policies need to be thought of when downloading copyrighted materials.
